FAQ's
What is occupational therapy for older adults?
Occupational therapy helps older adults remain active, independent, and safe as they age—whether at home, in the community, or during transitions in care. Using a personalized, client-centered approach, we assess and address the physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges that can arise with aging.
How do I know if my loved one needs OT services?
If you notice changes in how your loved one manages daily tasks—like falling more often, forgetting things, or struggling with self-care—an OT assessment can help determine what support might improve their safety and confidence. Check out our services to see how we can help.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Do you come to the home?
What kinds of conditions do you work with?
We work with clients recovering from surgery or hospitalization, living with chronic conditions (like dementias), or simply needing support to stay independent as they age.
Can you help with government-funded services or benefits?
Yes. While our services are private pay, we can recommend and help identify and determine eligibility for publicly-funded programs, as well as guide you through the application process.
